description of the procedure
In modern cosmetics there are many ways to deal with various skin imperfections. One of them is radio frequency treatment, also known as lifting without a scalpel. RF treatment is carried out with the use of special equipment that emits radio waves. In this way, the deeper layers of the skin are reached without disturbing its surface. This action is intended to stimulate regenerative processes, including face tightening and body sculpting. The biostimulation laser treatment we perform in Preston is particularly recommended for people struggling with wrinkles and cellulite.
What is radio frequency treatment?
RF treatment is based on the transformation of radio wave energy into heat that penetrates the skin, causing collagen contraction and stimulating fibroblasts to create new collagen fibres and elastin. This is important for the rejuvenation process, as collagen is responsible for the firmness of the face and its natural production decreases with age. Biostimulation laser radio frequency is therefore used for skin tightening, body sculpting, reducing fine lines and wrinkles, and improving face contours and the overall texture and condition of the skin. From face to body – the use of radio frequency
This non-invasive method is used in various areas of aesthetic cosmetics. It can be used on both the face and body, including for body sculpting, reducing cellulite, wrinkles, and dark circles under the eyes, and skin tightening in different areas such as the abdomen, arms, thighs, and buttocks. RF treatment using a biostimulation laser is also used to target the signs of ageing, such as sagging skin on the face, chin, and neck. As for the frequency of treatments, several sessions (6-8 treatments) of radio frequency staggered over time, preferably every 7 to 10 days, are recommended. What are the contraindications to RF treatment?
Although the body sculpting treatment is a non-invasive method of improving the appearance and condition of the skin, not everyone can benefit from it. Contraindications to biostimulation radio frequency include:- pregnancy and breastfeeding,
- presence of a pacemaker or other electronic implants,
- cancer diseases,
- active skin infections in the intended area of treatment,
- epilepsy,
- thyroid diseases.
